Awarded £40,000 to buy the last remaining coracle shed in England
The Trust recently bought the last remaining coracle shed in England, used by generations of the Rogers family to make coracles and work the river Severn in Ironbridge. The purchase was made possible thanks to Telford & Wrekin Council’s Community Pride Fund. Earlier this year they spoke of their plans to conserve the shed and now, six months later, they share how their plans are progressing.
